Tutoring
WHAT WE DO
- Treehouse teachers work in six Seattle public schools: African-American Academy K-8, Aki Kurose Middle School, Bailey Gatzert Elementary School, Madrona K-8, Meany Middle School and Washington Middle School. They work with eligible students during the school day help with classwork, homework and projects.
- After school, students can attend drop-in tutoring at our Treehouse Learning Center in Rainier Valley at the main Treehouse office 2100 Rainier Ave S.
- Summer Academy, school break camps and test preparation classes are offered at the Treehouse Learning Center in Rainier Valley.
ELIGIBILITY
Treehouse services are available to all children and youth in King County living in out-of-home care, including relatives other than birth parents. Before you can use tutoring, your DCFS social worker must complete and return a Treehouse referral form. See our complete eligibility guidelines.
