Year-Round Needs
Give Treehouse Kids What They Need Today
Seasonal drives go a long way toward keeping Wearhouse shelves stocked. But they don't run all the time, and the kids we serve have needs throughout the year. You can help us meet these needs by donating your family's like-new clothing, toys, and other items, by making a cash donation, or by collecting new items for Treehouse – instead of gifts – at family celebrations.
Socks, Underwear and Beyond
It's a sad fact that local foster kids often lack the most basic clothing — things we take for granted, like new underwear, socks, pants, and shoes. When people know about these often overlooked needs, they respond generously. You can be the one to spread the word to your friends, family and coworkers – it’s easy and it’s fun: organize a sock hop, a pajama party or dream up another creative way to collect basics for foster kids. Need ideas? The Treehouse Community Outreach team can help.
Foster Care Fact
Foster children are, on average, one to three years behind their peers in learning readiness and score 16-20% lower on standardized tests.
