Upcoming Drives
Summer Camp (March to July)
Treehouse pays for hundreds of foster kids to experience something wonderful: the chance to get away from it all and be carefree for a week of summer camp. But summer camp comes with a packing list – flashlight, swimsuit, sleeping bag – that many foster families can’t afford. With your help, foster kids can have the summer of a lifetime.
Hope Chest (March to May)
Ready or not, most kids are released from the foster care system after high school graduation or on their eighteenth birthdays. Some move on to live independently and others go to college or vocational school. When they leave foster care, most are walking away from the only support network they've ever had. And many are doing it without the most basic household items. When you organize a Hope Chest drive, you won't just be providing a few housewares—you'll be offering a little extra security and encouragement, a gift that means more than you'll ever know.
Back-to-School (July to September)
The first days of the new school year are exciting and more than a little bit scary for any child. Imagine having to go in old, ill-fitting clothes, and without the essential school supplies your classmates have brought with them. You can help Treehouse send local foster kids back to school equipped with everything they need to learn and thrive.
Joy of Giving (November to December)
It may look like a warm jacket or a bright new toy, but to a foster child it’s so much more: it’s a message that someone cares. That’s something every child deserves.
Find out what foster kids want this holiday and get started today on your Joy of Giving donation drive by contacting the drive coordinator at (206) 267-5109 or drives@treehouseforkids.org.
Foster Care Fact
